Dual Drive
Technology (Gen3)

The perfect balance between grip and Torque requirements

2021 Drawing from years of expertise and pioneering innovation in filament feeding, Bondtech has engineered larger drive wheels with enhanced grip technology to achieve unparalleled control and precision in filament feeding.

Despite this diameter expansion, our design remains finely balanced, enabling the utilization of compact pancake stepper motors to conserve energy but also reduce weight, making our feeders exceptionally efficient without compromising on grip.

Bondtech‘s Large Gears find the perfect torque to grip balance that enable filament repeatable and flawless filament extrusion.

Original Dual Drive Technology

3rd generation of the world leading extruder technology Bondtech brought to market.

Class leading filament grip

Large gears grab the filament harder and don't slip, tear or shred it.

More control and higher precision

The enhanced grip cancels under-extrusion and delivers precise filament deposition.

Anti-damage technology

The motor Torque and drive gears grip balance each other to stall the motor before internal damages occur.

Wanted to let you know just how powerful your drive for my Prusa Mini is. The filament in the roll was not wound properly and tangles up. Your direct drive actually pulls the roll of filament up and out of the base. This has happened 3 times.
Thought you might like to know how "BAD ASS" your drive is. Printing PLA and just realized adjustment is still set for Polypropylene I was originally printing so it isn't even set to grip tighter. Very Impressive!
